I have always been drawn to leadership and deep down knew I would become a leader in business one day. Becoming a great leader takes time & patience, grace & compassion, empathy & kindness.

Becoming a great leader is a skill that we will forever fine tune. There isn’t one way, nor another to lead. We take knowledge from our teachers, we listen to our surroundings and we embody our own inner wisdom that becomes our guide.

I was reminded yesterday from a long time mentor of mine, that being a great leader is really just taking care of people. He reminded me that all I need to do is cultivate confidence and I will continue growing into a great leader.

We so often hear the phrase “that’s just business”. I don’t think it is just business. We don’t have to waver from our moral compass to become a great leader in business. I want to pave the way for those around me that are on their own journey to leadership. I want to teach others that we can build a business ethically and with integrity. I want to inspire others to keep pushing forward even when times get tough. I want to always lead the way with love at the forefront of everything I do.
